Baseball Road Trip

BaseballRoadTripWell growing up in the 70's and I have always wanting to go on a stadium road trip. Reading an article from the LA Times about a person who had traveled to several cities to see as many baseball games as possible. This was a west coast start in Los Angeles and finishing in St. Louis. They were able to see the Dodgers, Angels, Padres, Giants, A's, Rangers, Astros, Royals and the Cardinals. I was envious. I was wishing. I was wanting. How could I do this on a shoe string budget. Well it never happened, but I sure live through this article the daily activities of the writer and was captivated.

I doing some other research I have stumbled on a website that can make any person's dream of a baseball road trip a reality. The site is called Baseball-RoadTrip.com. How cool is that.

Baseball-RoadTrip is a website for any baseball road warrior that cannot figure out what games to see in each city. Baseball-RoadTrip is to make it simple to plan a baseball road trip.

Planning a baseball road trip is as easy as picking the teams you want to see and what is the duration of the trip. While the website is very basics and does not have any awesome functionality it does deliver on arranging the dates, teams and the time between the games. The hardest thing to do in this situation is arranging the cities and time spent before you go to the next city. Baseball-RoadTrip does this for you. The US map showing all cities and teams on your road trip is a very useful tool. For the hardcore baseball fan Baseball-RoadTrip has added Triple AAA teams as well.

Baseball-RoadTrip has some room for growth with this unique website. Adding hotels that are close to the venue of the game would be a huge help to planning any road trip. Also if there were some logic to setting up a trip, such as the shortest distance from the city/team you are seeing to the next city/team. This would allow you to create a reasonable and cost effective trip.

This a wonderful website that made me think of a article from way back that has been on my mind for many years. And I cherish the memories.
