Aurele Joliat was a skilled and speedy left winger, celebrated for his scoring ability and tenacity despite his smaller stature. He was a consistent offensive contributor, helping lead Montreal to Stanley Cup championships in 1924, 1930, and 1931.
Known for his ability to create scoring chances and evade larger defenders, Joliat finished among the league’s top scorers multiple times and was a key member of the Canadiens’ “Punch Line” alongside Howie Morenz and Billy Boucher.
