PAC 12 School History

The PAC 12 Conference is one of the oldest and most storied conferences in college sports. It has been home to history's greatest teams, players, and coaches. From its inception as a regional conference in 1915 to today’s powerhouse status, it’s no wonder this conference is so revered by sports fans everywhere.

In its early days, the Pac-12 was made up of just six schools: California (Cal), Stanford University (Stanford), Oregon State University (Oregon St.), Washington State College (Washington St.), University of Idaho(Idaho)and Montana School Of Mines(Montana). Over time, these original members were joined by other universities from across the country, such as Arizona State University (ASU) and UCLA, to form what we know today as The Pac-12 Conference.
Throughout their long history, many legendary moments will live on forever for all fans who follow this great sport! In 1932, Cal won their first-ever national championship when they defeated Pittsburgh 7–6 at San Francisco's Kezar Stadium. This victory marked Cal's first title and set them apart from every other team that season with an undefeated record! Then again later on, during World War II, Stanford went undefeated while winning three consecutive championships between 1942 - 1944, making them one of only two teams ever to achieve such a feat since then!

More recently, The Pac-12 has seen success with programs like USC Trojans, who have won 11 National Championships since 1962, including three straight titles between 2003–2005, While Oregon Ducks had four consecutive bowl game appearances spanning 2009 - 2012, culminating into a Rose Bowl win against Wisconsin Badgers following 2011 season which earned them #2 ranking nationally at end year rankings! Finally, let us not forget current powerhouses like the Washington Huskies & Utah Utes, who consistently compete each year for the top spot within divisional standings while proving themselves among the nation's best collegiate football programs.

As you can see, over the last 100+ years, PAC 12 Schools have produced some incredible memories & accomplishments. With new additions coming soon, such as Colorado Buffaloes joining the fold next fall, We can expect even more greatness ahead, so stay tuned, folks!
