Chamique Holdsclaw Hall of Fame NBA

Chamique Holdsclaw is one of the most accomplished players in women's basketball history. She starred at Tennessee, leading the Lady Vols to three consecutive NCAA championships from 1996 to 1998 and earning two Naismith College Player of the Year awards. Selected first overall by the Washington Mystics in the 1999 WNBA Draft, Holdsclaw won WNBA Rookie of the Year and became a six-time WNBA All-Star. She later played for the Los Angeles Sparks, Atlanta Dream and San Antonio Silver Stars.

In 2002, she became the first WNBA player to win both the scoring and rebounding titles in the same season. She led the league in rebounding again in 2003 and averaged 16.9 points and 7.6 rebounds over her 11-year WNBA career. Holdsclaw also represented the United States and won an Olympic gold medal in 2000. She was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2026 as a player.
