He spent his entire 20-season career with the Montreal Canadiens from 1955 to 1975, renowned for his selfless playmaking, tenacity, and team leadership. Known for his clutch performances, he twice scored Stanley Cup–clinching goals, including the unforgettable overtime winner in 1966.
