Sue Bird Hall of Fame NBA

Sue Bird was one of the greatest point guards and most accomplished players in WNBA history, renowned for her exceptional court vision, passing, leadership, shooting and basketball IQ. Selected first overall by the Seattle Storm in the 2002 WNBA Draft, Bird spent her entire WNBA career with the franchise and became one of the league's most consistent and influential players.

She helped Seattle win four WNBA championships and became the only WNBA player to win championships in three different decades. Bird earned 13 WNBA All-Star selections and finished her career as the WNBA's all-time leader in assists, games played and minutes played. Internationally, she won five Olympic gold medals with Team USA.

She was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2025.
