2021 - BOMBERS WIN BACK-TO-BACK (CFL) GREY CUP

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers won the 108th Grey Cup in a dramatic 33-25 overtime victory against the hometown Hamilton Tiger-Cats on December 12, 2021. The win secured Winnipeg’s second consecutive championship, making them the first team in 11 years to repeat. Down 22-10 in the fourth quarter, the Bombers mounted a furious comeback propelled by MVP quarterback Zach Collaros. The victory was sealed in overtime with Collaros’ 13-yard touchdown pass to Darvin Adams, followed by an interception by linebacker Kyrie Wilson on Hamilton’s ensuing possession. Nic Demski was named the Most Outstanding Canadian. With the win, Winnipeg secured back-to-back Grey Cup titles, a feat the franchise hadn’t accomplished since 1961–62.
