1982 - Dave Bing – Hall of Fame

Dave Bing was inducted into the Eastern Michigan Eagles Hall of Fame in 1982 for his outstanding achievements as a basketball player. During his college career at Eastern Michigan, Bing was a two-time All-Mid-American Conference selection and the team’s leading scorer in each of his three seasons. He averaged 24.8 points per game during his career at Eastern Michigan, which is still the highest scoring average in school history. In addition to his success on the court, Bing also excelled academically and was named a CoSIDA Academic All-American in 1966. His induction into the Eagles Hall of Fame is a testament to his incredible talent and dedication to the sport of basketball.
