2023 - Fifteen conference championships

The North Carolina Central Eagles football team play at the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) level as a member of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. North Carolina Central has won fifteen conference championships, recent is in 2023, five shared and ten outright. The Eagles have appeared in the Division I-AA/FCS playoffs one time in 2023. They also made three appearances in the Division II playoffs.
