CC Sabathia Hall of Fame MLB

CC Sabathia was a dominant left-handed starting pitcher who spent 19 seasons in Major League Baseball with the Cleveland Indians, Milwaukee Brewers and New York Yankees. Selected by Cleveland with the 20th overall pick in the 1998 MLB Draft, Sabathia made his major league debut in 2001 and quickly established himself as one of the game's premier pitchers. He won the American League Cy Young Award in 2007 after leading the league in innings pitched and later became the ace of the Yankees' 2009 World Series championship team.

Sabathia finished his career with a 251–161 record, 3.74 ERA, 3,093 strikeouts and 3,577 innings pitched. He became only the third left-handed pitcher to reach 3,000 strikeouts and one of only five pitchers with at least 250 wins, 3000 strikeouts and a winning percentage above .600. He was selected to six All-Star Games and retired after the 2019 season. The Baseball Writers' Association of America elected Sabathia to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2025 in his first year of eligibility.
