2025 - A DYNASTY UNLOCKED: DEFENDERS UFL CONQUER

The DC Defenders clinched the 2025 UFL Championship in dominant fashion, overpowering the Michigan Panthers 58–34. Quarterback and UFL Championship MVP, Jordan Ta’amu, shattered league records with 390 passing yards and four touchdowns in the final game, capping a season where he led the UFL with 17 touchdown passes. The team’s success was spearheaded by a total of seven All-UFL selections, including leading receiver Cornell Powell and versatile specialist Chris Rowland. The organization’s coaching staff was also honored, as Shannon Harris and Offensive Coordinator Fred Kaiss earned Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year awards, respectively.
