In 2019, the Central Arkansas Bears men’s soccer team won the Sun Belt Conference championship. The team finished the regular season with a 7-3-2 conference record, which earned them the #2 seed in the conference tournament.

In the championship game, held on November 16, 2019, the Bears faced off against the Georgia State Panthers. After a scoreless regulation and overtime, the game went to penalty kicks. The Bears prevailed 5-4 in the shootout, with goalkeeper Marc Olsen making a key save to secure the victory.

The Sun Belt Conference championship was the first in program history for the Central Arkansas Bears men’s soccer team. The team finished the season with an overall record of 11-5-2 and earned a spot in the NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Tournament, where they lost in the first round to SMU.
