In 2017: Nashville SC plays its inaugural season in the USL, joining the Eastern Conference. The club plays its home games at First Tennessee Park, a minor league baseball venue shared with the Nashville Sounds. The club’s first game is a 0–0 draw with Pittsburgh Riverhounds on March 24, 2018. The club’s first win is a 1–0 victory over Bethlehem Steel FC on April 14, 2018. The club finishes eighth in the Eastern Conference and qualifies for the playoffs in its first season, but loses to FC Cincinnati 6–5 on penalties in the knockout round.
