2008 - The Eagles win their second MAC championship

The 2008 Eastern Michigan Eagles baseball team finished the regular season with a record of 32-25, earning them a spot in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament. In the tournament, the Eagles won four straight games, including a 12-10 victory over Miami (Ohio) in the championship game, to win their second MAC championship in school history.

The team was led by several standout players, including junior infielder Zach Leonard, who was named the MAC Tournament MVP after hitting .444 with 4 home runs and 11 RBIs in the tournament.
