2014 - The Kennesaw State Owls football team plays their inaugural season

Kennesaw State announced the formation of its football program on November 12, 2013, and the team played its first season in 2014 as a member of the Big South Conference. The team was led by head coach Brian Bohannon, who had previously served as the quarterbacks coach at Georgia Tech. The Owls went 6-5 in their first season, with notable victories over Edward Waters College and Gardner-Webb University.
