2015 - The Kennesaw State Owls women’s soccer team wins their first Atlantic Sun Conference championship

The Kennesaw State Owls women’s soccer team won the Atlantic Sun Conference championship in 2015, which was their first season as a member of the conference. The team was led by head coach Rob King, who had been with the program since 2013 and had previously coached at the University of West Georgia.

The Owls finished the regular season with a record of 10-7-3, and then went on to win three straight matches in the conference tournament to claim the championship. They defeated Lipscomb University 1-0 in the championship game, with a goal from sophomore midfielder Helena Santos.
