Henry Iba Hall of Fame NBA

Henry Iba was one of the most influential coaches in basketball history, known for his emphasis on discipline, defense, and fundamentally sound play. As head coach at Oklahoma A&M (now Oklahoma State University) from 1934 to 1970, he built one of the nation's premier college basketball programs.

For 36 seasons (1934–1970), he served as the head coach and athletic director at Oklahoma A&M (now Oklahoma State University), where he established a powerhouse program, winning back-to-back NCAA Championships in 1945 and 1946. On the international stage, Iba stands as a towering figure in USA Basketball history, having served as the head coach of three consecutive U.S. Olympic men's basketball teams (1964, 1968, and 1972).

Renowned for his disciplined, ball-control offense and stifling man-to-man defense, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as a coach in 1969.
