Big 10 School History

The Big 10 conference is one of history's most storied and successful college sports conferences. Founded in 1896, it has been home to some of the greatest athletes, teams, and coaches to grace a collegiate field or court. The Big 10 schools have won incredible championships across all major sports, including football, basketball, baseball/softball, and hockey. From legendary players such as Jim Thorpe at Ohio State University to iconic coaches like Bo Schembechler at Michigan or Joe Paterno at Penn State, there is no denying that this conference has had its share of remarkable moments over the years.
