2018 - Colton Chapple inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame

Colton Chapple played quarterback for the Harvard Crimson from 2010 to 2013. During his time at Harvard, Chapple set multiple records and earned numerous awards, including the 2013 Ivy League Player of the Year. Chapple finished his career at Harvard with 7,648 passing yards, 56 touchdown passes, and a completion percentage of 63.6%.  He also rushed for 1,375 yards and 24 touchdowns, making him one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the history of Harvard football. Chapple led Harvard to an undefeated 10-0 season in 2011 and back-to-back Ivy League championships in 2012 and 2013. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2018, becoming the first Harvard player to receive this honor since 1963. Chapple was recognized for his impressive statistics, leadership, and impact on the Harvard football program during his time as a player. After graduating from Harvard, Chapple went on to pursue a career in coaching, including stints as an assistant coach at his alma mater and as the head coach of the Lafayette Leopards.
