West Coast School History

The West Coast Conference (WCC) is a long-standing college athletic conference home to many of the nation’s top collegiate sports programs for decades. With its roots dating back to 1952, the WCC boasts an impressive history of success and tradition in both men’s and women’s athletics.

In addition to being one of the most competitive conferences in NCAA Division I basketball, several schools from this prestigious conference have also produced remarkable teams on the field or court over time. From Gonzaga University's run at a national championship in the 2017-18 Men's Basketball season to St Mary's College winning 3 consecutive regular season titles between 2009 and 2011, there are plenty of examples throughout WCC school history that demonstrate why it should be taken seriously as one of America's premier collegiate conferences.

The competition within this league is fierce every year, with each team vying for their respective championships while trying not only to win games but also build up their program through recruiting new talent annually.
