The San Antonio Brahmas are a professional American football team in the XFL. The team was founded in 2021 and will begin to play in 2023, becoming the first professional football franchise to call San Antonio home since the demise of the Arena Football League's San Antonio Talons in 2014. Since then, fans have eagerly awaited an opportunity to cheer on their pro-football squad, and now they finally have it!
The Brahmas' ownership group comprises local business leaders passionate about returning top-level sports entertainment to South Texas. They understand what it means for a city like San Antonio—which has such strong ties with its military community—to be able to rally around a hometown team again.
